Taylor Momsen is a workaholic. The singer / actress doesn’t mind putting in long hours on the set and loves constantly improving her career.

“My best friends come on tour with me, I’m so close with my band so that’s fantastic. It’s the best job, you get to be with who you love and be with your friends all the time. There’s no complaints. I’m working 24 hours a day and that’s probably the one thing people don’t know about me, that I’m a workaholic and I can’t stop. But I love what I do so it’s always fun.”

I forgot how much energy a 17-year-old has. If only we could bottle that up!!

Taylor Momsen also told BANG Showbiz that she doesn’t consider herself a role model. We’ve heard that one before:

“I don’t want to consider myself to be a role model, that’s too much pressure for anyone to take on. I didn’t get into this industry to become a role model.
“I got into it very young and because I love music I still have that drive. I’m not happy if I’m not making music, it’s a simple as that. It’s a need. So if I inspire people who need to do what I do and want to have the same drive to work really hard then that’s great but don’t try to be me, be yourself. That’s the only foundation in this industry because it’s so critical and difficult.”

The Pretty Reckless album, ‘Light Me Up’, will release this Monday.

Taylor Momsen Hot Gossips

Taylor Momsen is a little bit of the worst on "Gossip Girl" -- it ain't no secret people -- but the girl knows how to record a song.

Taylor, and her band known as The Pretty Reckless, premiered their 4-track EP on Billboard.com today and it is filled all kinds of vocal raspy brilliance. The self-titled set will hit iTunes on June 22, and consistsof the bands first efforts at conquering the pop rock world. Think early Courtney Love mixed with Jet-like guitar riffs and The Veronicas' vocal backings.

I like to imagine little Jenny Humphrey attending some random concert where The Pretty Reckless perfoms and leaves her head spinning. Then there is this whole "Parent Trap"-like storyline on next season's "Gossip Girl," which ends in some really bad "let's switch places" cliff hanger. That would be boss.

"Make Me Wanna Die,"the first single from Tay-Tay and the gang, can be heard with the rest of this EP below and in person June 25 - Aug. 15 when they hit the road with Vans Warped Tour.
