Bristol Palin’s dancing on the sign-of-the-apocalypse programming, Dancing With The Stars, has prompted a lot of criticism, but this may be the first 15-hour armed stand-off with the cops. Steven Cowan, 67, of Wisconsin, apparently flew into a frothy rage after watching the young Palin, who he claimed was not a good dancer and was only on the show because of her mother’s fame, and shot his television with a single-shot shotgun. According to a police report of the incident, he was so angry, he scared the “Bejebees” of his wife, Janice.Cowan, however, then turned the gun on his wife, who managed to escape, and call the police (and tell them he scared the “Bejebees” out of her); a 15-hour stand off between Cowan and the cops, involving the SWAT team, then ensued.
