The notorious actress, Lindsay Lohan, was freed from Rancho Mirage’s Betty Ford Center for fifteen hours on Thanksgiving Day. Lohan, 24, drove for two hours to Los Angeles on Thursday morning to celebrate Thanksgiving with her father and friends under the requisite that she return by the evening.
Two days before Thanksgiving, Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, told reporters that she was trying to get Lindsay to New York to be with her for Thanksgiving even though she is prohibited from leaving the state of California till after January 3.
Lohan was sentenced to rehabilitation after a series of events including: not appearing in court for her mandatory DUI sentencing hearing in May 2010, was sentenced to 90 days in jail on her July 6 hearing and failing her court ordered mandatory drug test.
Lohan recently lost her lead role in Inferno to Watchmen actress, Malin Ackerman. She was casted to star in the porn biopic that chronicles the life of porn star Linda Lovelace. The film was postponed due to Lohan’s legal troubles, rehab visits, and other legal obligations. After standing by the actress for six months, producers cited scheduling issues and replaced the actress.
